Ethos
The link between Sports Therapy and Strength and Conditioning creates an ideal blend that whenever your first contact is with us, we can progress you towards your goals. If injured, following treatment and rehabilitation, we believe continued treatment and strength and conditioning will improve your athletic capabilities and reduce future injury risk. Whereas, if you are healthy and looking to improve robustness and performance, then soft tissue treatments, like massage, will be beneficial for you, and we shall always be on hand if an injury was to occur.
Experience
I have a BSc degree in Sports Therapy and have also completed a MSc degree in Strength and Conditioning. These courses have provided me with an extensive knowledge across all aspects of Sports Medicine and Performance, ensuring whatever your goals, from walking up the stairs to running a marathon, I can assist with this process.
I am currently a Sports Therapist and Physical Performance Coach within the Tottenham Hotspur Women FC academy, and I also work with amateur athletes and the general population, so I can provide an individualised approach, irrespective of your physical capabilities.
I have experience in professional and semi-professional sport, having previously worked at Leyton Orient FC, Boreham Wood FC, Ware FC and Warwickshire County Cricket Club, working with both adult and academy athletes.
Facility
10 Riversfield Road, EN1 3DJ, Enfield.
We have a portable treatment couch meaning injury assessments and massages can take place at the clinic, as well as there being an option for massage home visits.
In the clinic we have all the gym equipment required for effective strength and conditioning and rehabilitation, including barbells, bumper plates, dumbbells, medicine balls, cables, hurdles and a plyometric box and step. This ensures efficient progressive overload can be applied throughout your programme.
